An Comunn Gaidhealach is proud to be supporting the 2012 Applecross Bardic School, which will take place between Monday 2nd and Friday 6th July in Applecross.
The Course will promote and celebrate the Gaelic Bardic Traditions of Scotland and further afield, through seminars, tutorials and creative writing workshops. The course will be delivered by our distinguished speakers in Gaelic with simultaneous translation available for non-Gaelic speakers.
This year’s key speaker will be Lewis Mackinnon, a native of Nova Scotia, who was recently crowned as Bard of An Comunn Gaidhealach at the 2011 Royal National Mod in the Western Isles.
Fringe events will include story-telling, local Gaelic dialect session, guided walks, heritage centre visit, spinning and a ceilidh.
