Finlay MacNeil recorded this album in 1982, but like all classic albums it never ages, so we are proud to re-issue it on CD.
Finlay was born on the Island of Lewis, and although he was brought up in Port Glasgow, Gaelic was his first and best loved language. As well as singing he became a highly respected and prize winning piper. Over the years he has established himself as a favourite singer among Gaelic and non-Gaelic speakers alike. He is joined on this album by other fine musicians and singers such as Duncan MacGillivary, Brian MacNeill, Alan Reid, Stuart Anderson, Brian Miller, Dorothy & John Boa and Alison Kinnaird.
